Well, Huh.

I knew I hadn’t looked at this in a while but I was pretty sure it wasn’t that long ago.

I’m looking at using this as part of my stay motivated and get stuff finished that are long over do process for 2017. yeah. I know. That’s how New Year’s Resolutions sound. Meh.

I used to make games. Tabletop kind. One of them was pretty well received though it moved along to other folks and is, well. I’m not sure now. Others returned to their owners or I never finished.  Time to get on with that mess. I’m also a sometimes code monkey – not entirely professionally but I’m not too bad at it and I have some code projects I need to similarly finish. Here is the purpose I’m setting forth with, in hopes I can get things moved along, completed, or put out of their misery.

When I started this blog, part of the goal was to get the tabletop going again and TRY doing things I had done in the past with Pagemaker ( InDesign was *just* become a legit shift when I stopped ), Photoshop, etc. with approximate equivalents in the OSS world, reporting on issues, opening bugs, and writing PRs when I can manage.  I want to do that again – but with a schedule in mind.

And I would like to look at tracking my code projects – at least the ones I can share – the same way.

My hope is the personal reporting requirement might help me stay on task, work through blockers, and generally get things done.

My first step – I think – is to sort out – do I stay on WordPress, or move to something else, like Ghost.

This is a pretty vanilla WordPress install, But it IS WordPress. Sooner or later it will be harassed more than it is worth.

Once that’s done I need to prioritize work.  maybe that first.

Here goes.
